PURPOSE: To provide a simple clinical thermometer to measure an accurate body temperature by measuring temperatures by turning a probe of an eardrum type clinical thermometer in the various directions.

CONSTITUTION: An eardrum type clinical thermometer which has a probe part 1 enclosing an infrared ray sensor to output an electric machine signal corresponding to it by receiving infrared ray energy and detects a body temperature by the electric machine signal from the probe part 1, is an eardrum type clinical thermometer to store and display the highest temperature obtained by measuring body temperatures at least in two places in the external auditory meatus.
