Abstract:
To provide an earth detector that enables fault diagnosis even at the time of wiring disconnection.
An earth detector includes: an earth detection unit 30 for detecting earth of a high-voltage power supply system 40 mounted on a vehicle in an insulated state; and an earth implementing circuit 20 that electrically connects the high-voltage power supply system 40 to a vehicle body 60 of a vehicle in fault diagnosis of the earth detection unit 30 so that a pseudo insulation resistance deterioration is generated. The earth detection unit 30 and the earth implementing circuit 20 are respectively connected to the high-voltage power supply system 40 through separated wires 50, 51.
