Title:
EARTH DRILL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002349175
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve the working environment in an excavating work by preventing the muddy water adhered to a wire rope for suspending a kelly-bar from falling on the ground.

A kelly-bar-side muddy water receiver 28 and a winch-side muddy water receiver 34 for receiving muddy water squeezed out of a main winding rope 18 when winding the rope 18 on a kelly-bar-side sheave 16 and winch-side sheave 17 rotatably mounted on a sheave bracket 14 on the upper end side of a leader 12 are arranged on the lower side of the sheaves 16 and 17, respectively. Even if the muddy water is adhered to the main winding rope 18 in the excavating work of a vertical shaft 24, and squeezed out when winding the rope 18 on the sheaves 16 and 17, the muddy water can be received in the kelly-bar-side mud received 28 and winch-side mud receiver 34. Accordingly, the mud squeezed out of the main winding rope 18 can be prevented from being scattered onto a worker or the like on the ground to improve the working environment in the excavating work.
