A male housing 10 is equipped with the planar terminal metal fittings 30 by insert molding. The terminal metal fittings 30 have fitting portions 34 for fixing the terminal metal fittings 30 to the grounding member 90 of a vehicle body or the like fastened with a bolt 20. The fitting portion 34 is configured in the form of a double plate construction 40 which is made by folding a metal plate. The double plate construction 40 is exposed outside the male housing 10, while some part of it is embedded in the male housing 10. Consequently, the strength of the fitting portion 34 is raised and mechanical endurance is improved against oscillation or the like.
