Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth leakage circuit breaker capable of preventing a built-in power supply circuit from being failed by interrupting the earth leakage circuit breaker even when an overvoltage is continuously applied to an AC electric path by a voltage tolerance test or the like.SOLUTION: An earth leakage circuit breaker has: a switching contact 2 for opening and closing an AC electric path 1; an overcurrent detector 3 for detecting an overcurrent in the AC electric path 1; a leakage current detector 4 for detecting a leakage current from the AC electric path 1; an overcurrent tripping element 7 for opening the switching contact 3 based on signals detected by the overcurrent detector 3; and a leakage tripping element 8 for opening the switching contact 2 based on the signals detected by the leakage current detector 4 and including a monitoring circuit 23m which detects the overcurrent from the AC electric path 1 and drives the overcurrent tripping element 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
