Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth-leakage circuit breaker which can be easily assembled by devising a form of a trip lever.SOLUTION: The earth-leakage circuit breaker comprises: a movable contact 8 that is attached to a crossbar 11 turnably installed inside a casing and is connected to a bimetal 6 through a flexible conductor 7; a fixed contact 9 installed at a position opposite to the movable contact 8; an armature 15 that is turnably jounaled, is attracted by an electro-magnetic force due to an overcurrent in a main circuit, and is turned; a latch 13 that turns the crossover 11 to a direction where the movable contact 8 is opened and separated from the fixed contact 9 in accordance with the operation of the bimetal 6 provided turnably and integrally with the crossbar 11 and turning of the armature 15; and a trip lever 19 that operates and turns the armature 15 when a leakage detection signal is detected in a residual current transformer 16 provided in the main circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
