Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth leakage breaker having no possibility that excessive stress is applied on a movable piece of a switch part even if a test button is operated in a condition wherein the switch part of a test circuit is not closed.
SOLUTION: One end of the movable piece 4 composing one switch part of the test circuit is rigidly combined with a separator 8 to operate a contact part to make break a main electric circuit, and the other end is formed as a free end to make the abutting part of a test button 3 of it. A contact 4a brought into contact with a fixed piece 5 composing the other switch part is provided in the lower part of the almost center of the movable piece 4, and a separator 8 ascends with the main circuit opened. Therefore, the contact 4a is substantially parted from the fixed piece 5 and they are not brought into contact with each other even if the test button is operated.
