To provide an earth retaining wall/RC composite structure and its construction method capable of simply connecting a steel material as the core of the earth retaining wall and a reinforcement of the body structure or dowel at a site, and promoting thereby the integrality of the earth retaining wall and the body structure.
A mechanical joint 2a having a female screw is mounted on the body structure side of a steel bar 2 connecting between inside and outside flanges of the steel material 1 as the core of the earth retaining wall, and it is so constituted that it can be opened in the surface position of the steel material 1. A mechanical joint 7a having a similar female screw is mounted to the end of the reinforcement 7 of the body structure. Both mechanical joints 2a and 7a have inverse screws, a relay bolt 5 having different directions of screws in right and left is used, and the relay bolt 5 is rotated around the shaft to connect the steel material 1 to the reinforcement 7 while pulling both mechanical joints 2a and 7a near to each other.
