Title:
EARTH RETAINING CONCRETE BLOCK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1143958
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate waste and make disused waste material usable as reinforcing material for an earth retaining block body by fixing reinforcing logs horizontally in multiple stages to an earth retaining wall of the earth retaining block body additionally provided at an earth wall. SOLUTION: Reinforcing logs 3 are horizontally fixed in multiple stages to the surface side of an earth retaining wall 2. Waste material cut down and disused at the time of forming the earth retaining wall 4 is used as the logs 3. A plurality of fixtures 4 for fixing the logs 3 to the earth retaining wall 2 are installed on the right and left sides of the earth retaining wall 2. A log fit-in part 5 for enclosing the logs 3 in an arranged state is formed on the surface side, and embedded holding bolts 6 are protrusively provided on the lateral and vertical sides, and hold-in iron plates 4a are thread-fastened between the protruding parts of the bolts 6 to fix the logs 3. The rotted reinforcing log 3 can therefore be replaced easily by detaching the hold-in iron plates 4a, and plants can be reared from the logs 3. The applied quantity of concrete required to form a block body (a) is reduced in comparison to a conventional method so as to attain low-cost constitution on the whole.
