Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly convey earth and sand even when a belt conveyor is curved with a comparatively small radius of curvature.
CONSTITUTION: Plural floats are connected with each other freely rotationally in the horizontal direction and floated on water, and a conveyor belt 13 extended between the plural floats is supported and guided by means of a guide roller 15, which is arranged on each of the floats via a supporting frame 12, so that its cross section is formed into a U-shape. The guide roller 15, which is positioned in the float end part side at least, is movably arranged in a supporting frame 12 via a movable base 17 and a guide rod 18, and tension working on the conveyor belt 13 is utilized so that the conveyor belt 13 is curvedly run with the guide roller 15 laterally moved.
