Abstract:

To provide an earthquake control operation system ensuring safety of passengers in an elevator installed in a building and suppressing damage to equipment to the minimum when a long-period earthquake with a long-period of earthquake motion occurs on the building.

The earthquake control operation system for the elevator is provided with a long-period earthquake detection device 201 for detecting the long-period earthquake when the long-period earthquake occurs, and performs control operation of the elevator when the long-period earthquake is detected by the long-period earthquake detection device. Further, when the long-period earthquake is detected by the long-period earthquake detection device, the elevator is transferred to the nearest floor stopping action, first control operation action for safely getting-out the passenger from the elevator car is performed, and nextly, second control operation action for moving the elevator car to a predetermined position not receiving influence by vibration of the long-period earthquake is performed.
