Abstract:
To disclose an example of a specific earthquake occurrence detection device, and an example of a water-supply system using the earthquake occurrence detection device.SOLUTION: The earthquake occurrence detection device (earthquake detector 33) detects the occurrence of an earthquake by using a water level detected by a water level pressure sensor 14, that is, the change rate of a water level pressure Pw. A water-supply system 1 makes all motor pumps 21 in a resting state when the occurrence of an earthquake has been determined. This can suppress discharge of water in a water receiving tank 10 from the tank. It thus becomes possible to use water remaining in the water receiving tank 10 as resources for disasters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
