Abstract:

To provide an earthquake-proof cinerary urn which is excellent in earthquake-proof, fire resistance and waterproof, where water is not accumulated inside and which does not become hot in the case of housing the cinerary.

The earthquake-proof cinerary urn is composed of: a urn main body 1 made of stainless steel; and a lid made of stainless steel screwed to an upper opening of the urn main body 1. At the bottom part of the urn main body 1, a dome-shaped raised part 3 is formed. At the bottom part of the urn main body 1, a drip hole 4 is provided. On the inner peripheral surface of the urn main body 1, a metallic lining 7 is provided through a heat-resistant material. On the outer periphery of the main body 1, brass plating is carried out, and the surface of the brass plating can be decorated by etching. At a part of the outer periphery of the main body 1, a satin part where characters of the year of death, a name before one's death, a name given to a dead person by a Buddhist priest, etc. can be written can be formed.
