Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve some disadvantages that an earthquake proof facility in which some die steels were applied as components was a custom-made article, required high cost for manufacturing and consumed useless time, additionally another method for the earthquake proof facility constituted by full thread shaft hanging support members showing a high general purpose and full thread shaft brace members showed that the supporting members receiving compression stress were full thread shafts, showed a poor buckling resistance performance and a sufficient earthquake proof performance could not be attained.SOLUTION: This invention provides an earthquake proof facility constituted by a full thread shaft hanging support member showing a high general purpose, well availability and a brace member of full-thread shaft, a steel pipe having a high general purpose characteristic and well availability acting as a sheath is combined with the full-thread shaft support member to cause a compression stress to be distributed to the steel pipe having a superior anti-buckling performance and the full-thread shaft is applied at a tensile stress side to distribute the compression stress and the tensile stress to be effectively distributed to a proper member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
