Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-proof hinge which allows a door to be opened even when an overload acts to the door via a frame body due to an earthquake; and allows the door to be suspended in a normal state even if the fitting position of the door is vertically somewhat displaced.SOLUTION: An earthquake-proof hinge has a shaft side blade 1 and a receiving side blade 2. The blades include: blades 5, 13 having mounting holes; pipe parts 3, 11; plugs 6, 14 for closing one side ends of the pipe parts 3, 11; a shaft 9 inserted into the pipe parts 3, 11; washers 8, 16 abutting on the tips of the shaft 9; snap rings 7, 15 fixed inside the pipe parts 3, 11; and compression coil springs 10, 17 for energizing the washers in a direction in which the washers abut on the snap rings 7, 15. A movable space 18 is formed between a shaft side hinge and a receiving side hinge. The shaft 9 is one of a plurality of shafts having different lengths, and the shaft 9 selected from the plurality of shafts according to the fitting position of the shaft side blade 1 or the receiving side blade 2 is provided in the pipe part 3, 11.
