Title:
EARTHQUAKE-PROOF REINFORCING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3757383
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a stable condition of a structure by controlling an upper jack arranged between a lower receive beam which is slidably provided for a pile and the structure and a lower jack arranged between an additional beam and the lower receive beam.
SOLUTION: For example, when a new structure is built below an existing building 11, a lower receive beam 21 is constructed below the existing building 11 to hold it by a lower receive pile 22, and the lower receive beam 21 and a foundation pile 13 are arranged slidably. An upper jack 41 is arranged above the lower receive beam 21 to support the existing building 11. An additional beam 23 is provided on the foundation pile 13 which is lower than the lower receive beam 21, and a lower jack 42 is arranged between the additional beam 23 and the lower receive beam 21. The posture of the existing building 11 is kept by the upper jack 41 and the lower jack 42. It is desirable that inclination of the existing building 11 is measured by a displacement gage 51, that stroke of the jacks is measured by a jack stroke gage 52, and that the jacks 41, 42 are controlled to keep the posture of the existing building 11.
