Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly grasp a damage situation of a building damaged by earthquake.
SOLUTION: First, a building for earthquake resistance diagnosis is vibrated at a minute deformation level, and the natural frequency in X and Y directions of the building is calculated as the aged natural frequency f2x, f2y by measuring the vibration, respectively (101). On the other hand, the natural frequency in X and Y directions when the building is in a sound condition is evaluated as the natural frequency f1x, f1y, respectively (102). Next, values f2x /f1x, f2y /f1y obtained by dividing the aged natural frequency f2x, f2y by the initial natural frequency f1x, f1y are calculated as reduction rates of the natural frequency of the building for each direction (103). Then, damage situations of the building are estimated from the reduction rates of the natural frequency of the building f2x /f1x, f2y /f1y for each X and Y direction, respectively (104).
