Title:
EARTHQUAKE-SENSING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3050833
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-sensing device for preventing the shutoff failure of a breaker, when voltage drops simultaneously with the earthquake.
SOLUTION: An external voltage detection part 8 is connected to a judging means 2 for judging whether an earthquake has broke out or not by receiving a signal from an earthquake-sensing sensor 1. When an external voltage that is detected by the external voltage detection part 8 has not reached the operation voltage of a breaker, memory is retained without outputting a trip signal to the breaker and then the trip signal is outputted to the breaker after the external voltage returns to the operation voltage of the breaker, thus preventing the breaker from failing.
