Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of an injury, etc., by falling onto a floor due to scattering to the outside of the fragile articles and dangerous articles of tablewares, etc., housed in cupboards by automatically locking doors for china cabinets and various cupboards at the time of occurrence of an earthquake, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A china cabinet 10 is vibrated largely by the generation of an earthquake an earthquake-sensing signal is input to a control section. A locking-mechanism driving command is emitted from a control section at the time of the excess of dynamic sensitivity at that time, a solenoid driving section is supplied with the command, and each locking mechanism 31-34 is operated. Each sliding pin is inserted and engaged to the engaging holes of each stud (316 in the locking mechanism 31), and a locked state is brought. A buzzer is rung while LEDs incorporated into each release switch are lit at that time, and each door 11-14 of the cabinet 10 is locked, thus preventing the flying-out of tablewares. The earthquake ends, and the simultaneous release or discrete release of the cabinet 10 is conducted, and the cabinet is arranged.
