Title:
EARTHQUAKE STRENGTHENING DEVICE FOR EXISTING BUILDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019183555
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an earthquake strengthening device for an existing building which can be compactly installed in a column-beam connection portion of an existing building and which can effectively exhibit strengthening effect to a column-beam connection portion and attenuation effect to a damper.SOLUTION: Beam splice members 2 in horizontal two directions extending along crossing beams 12 in two directions of a column-beam connection portion; a column splice member 3 extending upwardly or downwardly from an intersection of the beam splice members 2 in two directions; a rod shaped horizontal damper 4 connecting tip portions of the beam splice members 2 in two directions; and two rod shaped diagonal dampers 5 connecting tip portions of the column splice member 3 with tip portions of the beam splice members 2 in two directions are connected in a three-dimensional truss shape so as to form six sides of a substantially trigonal pyramid shape. The three-dimensional truss shape resists vibration of the column-beam connection portion in an earthquake. Against vibration larger than a prescribed scale of the column-beam connection portion, the horizontal damper 4 and the diagonal dampers 5 absorb vibration energy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
