Title:
EASILY SPLITTABLE FIBER BUNDLE AND MICROFINE FIBER AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING THEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3930018
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide considerably microfine fiber mainly comprising polyamideimide resin or polyimide resin that have the same excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, flame retardancy and the like as those of the conventional polyamideimide resin or polyimide resin and provide the method for producing these microfine fiber.
SOLUTION: The easily splittable fiber bundles are produced through the dope step where polyamideimide resin or polyimide resin or their precursors, at least one or more kinds of fiber-forming macromolecules are dissolved in an organic solvent to prepare the spinning dope and the spinning step where the dope is extruded through the spinning nozzles, then solidified and spun. Then, only fiber-forming polymer in the easily splittable fiber bundle is dissolved and removed and the microfine fibers are collected.
