To produce a film made from a composition containing a plurality of incompatible resins and having improved tearability and transparency.

A resin composition containing a polycarbonate (A) and a styrene resin (B) in an A/B weight ratio of 65/35 to 95/5 is extruded without stretching to produce an easily tearable film improved in tearability and transparency. Examples of component B include a homo- or co-polymer of a styrene monomer and a copolymer of a styrene monomer with at least one comonomer selected from the group consisting of (meth)acrylic monomers, maleic acid and its derivatives. The above resin composition may further contain 0.1-30 pts.wt. of a compatibilizer per 100 pts.wt. total of components A and B. The compatibilizer is exemplified by a modified styrene resin.
