To provide an easily wearable kimono so designed that the right and left front parts of a lower garment are independent of an upper garment and put together in a skirt state to be fixed so as to be readily wearable without minding Ohashori (an omission) or a seam at the back face side.

The kimono comprises upper/lower separation type one, and has the following structure: at least a back body part 16 and the lower garment 1 of the kimono is formed of broad width fabric so as not to have a center seam part, a gusset part of the lower garment, and a side seam part; an upper-garment front part 12 has such a length that its lower end overlaps a lower-garment front part 2; and a waist cord for fixing is attached to the lower-garment front part.
