To provide an easy adhesive polyester film which has excellent adhesiveness with respect to various inks, various coatings, various topcoating agents and the like and can be usefully utilized in many fields for a data recording material, a condenser film, a packaging film, a plate making film, an electric insulating film, a photographic film and the like.

The easy adhesive polyester film is constituted by coating one side of a film with a coating solution, which contains at least one kind of a water soluble or water dispersible polymer resin (A) and a polyvalent aldehyde compound (B), and drying the coated film to provide an easy adhesive layer on the film.
