The hydrant is set within a box-formed space 7 on a wall surface 5 of a road tunnel 1, and a front panel 19 with a door 21 for opening/closing the front surface 7a is fixed to the wall surface 5a of the box-formed space 7. Further, a housing part 17 for housing a fire-extinguishing hose 15 with a nozzle connected at the distal end on the wall surface side of the front panel 19 is disposed on the floor surface 9 within the box-formed space 7.
