To provide an easy and inexpensive vein protector capable of reducing such trouble as detachment of a catheter part caused by touching an obstacle, injury of the vein caused by bending limbs and unintentional removal of a catheter as the catheter indwelling in the vein is fixed with adhesive plasters for the intravenous injection.

A soft transparent synthetic resin plate etc., is fixed in a cylindrical shape with adhesive tapes or hook and loop closures such as Velcro (R) materials at both ends. The synthetic resin plate has thickness with (or without) vent holes. The length of the synthetic resin plate can be easily adjusted by cutting with scissors, and the length is long enough to fix two joints at the same time. In another embodiment, the synthetic resin plate may be fixed from outside with Velcro (R) bands, etc., after formed in the cylindrical shape.
