To provide an eave hardware which prevents the rainwater from being deviated toward the side of a building, and the building.
In an eave hardware 1, at least the bottom edge P of an outer face 11a of a tip edge 11 of a plate 10 constitutes an outermost part M0. The rainwater thus drips from the position of the eave hardware 1 farthest from a building 100. The rainwater is thereby prevented from dropping onto the eave hardware 1 of a lower floor. An edge face 11c is upwardly tilted toward the side of the building 100, in a board thickness T between the outer face 11a and an inner face 11b of the tip edge 11 of the plate 10. The rainwater is thereby surely prevented from taking a roundabout path to the side of the edge face 11c. Due to the configuration, the rainwater running down along the outer face 11a drips from the outermost part M0 of the eave hardware 1 at the position farthest from the building 100 without taking a roundabout path to the side of the edge face 11c.
