Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize mounting of an eave soffit panel over a long period by preventing the mid part of the panel from hanging down, while easily holding and attaching the indoor and outdoor end portions of the eave soffit panel by means of mounting brackets of U-shaped cross section.
SOLUTION: In an eave soffit panel mounting structure, the mounting brackets 1 and 2 of U-shaped cross section are mounted respectively to the outdoor and indoor sides of an eave soffit while facing a U-shaped opening; the eave soffit panel 5 is formed which is corrugated by forming recesses 3 and projections 4 alternately, the recesses being dented downwards and the projections projecting upwards, in directions perpendicular to the indoor-to- outdoor direction; the eave soffit panel 5 is mounted in place by inserting the indoor and outdoor end portions of the eave soffit panel 5 into the opposite mounting brackets 1 and 2. At the mid part of the eave soffit panel 5 along the indoor-to-outdoor direction, the upper surface part 3a of the recess 3 which dents downwards and a ceiling bed 6 are fixed to each other by a fixture 7.
