Abstract:
To provide an eaves device having a light shielding function accurately changeable according to a difference in the intensity and the length of sunshine between summer season and winter season by easily changing the light transmittance of the eaves device according to the use environment and use conditions.
In this eaves device, an eaves body 3 extending outward is fixed to the outer wall W of a building. The eaves body 3 has a translucency and formed in a flat plate shape. A liquid crystal film L having a light transmittance arbitrarily changeable by electrification control is integrally joined to the eaves body 3.
