Title:
EAVES TILE AND METHOD OF MOUNTING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009030282
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an eaves tile which is laterally adjustable without adjusting work thereof, good in appearance, and free from unbalance even when rotated.

The eaves tile 7 has a hanging portion 10 which has inclined surfaces 11, 12 formed on both side surfaces close to an insertion portion C and a crosspiece portion D. The inclined surfaces 11, 12 are inclined from the side of the crosspiece portion D to the side of the insertion portion C at a location that is more separate from a head portion A and closer to a tail portion B. The inclined surface 11 close to the insertion portion C abuts on the inclined surface 12 close to the crosspiece portion D of the eaves tile 7 adjacent to the insertion portion C of the eaves tile 7 concerned, and the inclined surface 12 close to the crosspiece portion D abuts on the inclined surface 11 close to the insertion portion C of the eaves tile 7 adjacent to the crosspiece portion D of the eaves tile 7 concerned. Further the eaves tile 7 has a tail protrusion 20 formed at a trough center p of the tail portion B thereof, which rotatably hooks the tail portion B on a batten of a roof. Specifically the tail protrusion is located in a range X that extends 40 mm rightward and leftward from the trough center p. Further an abutting surface 21 of the tail protrusion 20, that abuts on the batten is projected frontward as viewed in plan.
