Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eaves ventilator which can achieve ventilation and prevention of the spreading of a fire simultaneously by arranging a ventilating wall in which an air vent is bored and a fire protection cover and which can improve the storage and appearance of the front of the eaves of a house by covering the front.
SOLUTION: A ventilator made of a flame retardant or incombustible material, which is attached to the eaves of a house, has a fascia board 11 mounted on the front of a fascia board base and a ventilation chamber 12 provided below the fascia board 11. An air vent 151 is bored in the rear wall of the ventilation chamber 12 to provide a ventilating wall 15, and the bottom wall 13 and the upper end portion of the ventilation chamber 12 are projected to form an extension 14 and a joist fixing part 16, respectively, and a fire protection cover part 17 is formed to hang from the front of the ventilating wall 15, with spaces between the cover part 17 and the fascia board 11 and between the cover part and the bottom wall 13. They are joined integrally with one another.
