EGR gas is supplied to a heat exchanger 11, and is cooled by latent heat generated when part of a liquid phase refrigerant is boiled and evaporated. A refrigerant of gas-liquid two phases is supplied from the heat exchanger 11 to a gas-liquid separator 13 and is separated into a gas phase refrigerant and a liquid phase refrigerant, and the gas phase refrigerant is supplied to a condenser 14. By the refrigerant pump 19 for liquid-phase separated refrigerant circulation, the liquid phase refrigerant separated by the gas-liquid separator 13 is returned to a refrigerant inlet 11a side of the heat exchanger 11. A turbine 12 is provided on a refrigerant passage 30 from the heat exchanger 11 to the condenser 14, and rotating force by the turbine 12 is transmitted to the refrigerant pump 19 for liquid-phase separated refrigerant circulation by a power transmitting means 40 to drive the refrigerant pump 19 for liquid-phase separated refrigerant circulation.
