Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentric oscillation type reduction gear capable of greatly prolonging the lifetime of an eccentric body shaft.SOLUTION: An eccentric oscillation type reduction gear 12 has external tooth gears (oscillation gear) 24A, 24B, an eccentric body shaft 20 having eccentric bodies 22A, 22B, and rolls (eccentric body bearing) 26A, 26B arranged between the external tooth gears and eccentric bodies, and oscillates the external tooth gears eccentrically or with deflection through eccentric bodies of eccentric body shaft. The eccentric body shaft is subjected to hardening processing, in which when the eccentric body shaft is thermally loaded such that material characteristic thereof change, a surface part of the eccentric shaft is larger in carbide amount after being thermally loaded than before thermally loaded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
