Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively brake a train by integrally interlocking an axle and an arm for supporting an exciting coil, and always holding a gap between a brake disc and the pole surface of the coil at a small constant gap. CONSTITUTION:A supporting mechanism 7 of exciting coils 15 disposed oppositely to the both side positions of the outer periphery of a brake disc 5 of an axle 1 is rockably suspended through a supporting link 10 and spherical retaining pins 12, 13 to a truck frame side and supported through a thrust bearing 11 to the axle 1. The arm 8 of the mechanism 7 is always held constantly at the positional relation to the disc 5 of the axle 1, and the pole faces 15b of the coils 15 arranged fixedly to the arm 8 do not collide with the disc 5.
