Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an eddy current type instrument having high resistance to vibration despite having few components, on the premise that a resin cover member is used. An eddy current type instrument (10) includes: a first rotating shaft (31) supported rotatably by a base portion (21); a resin cover member (40) covering the base portion (21); a second rotating shaft (51) supported rotatably by the cover member (40); and a damper mechanism (60) provided above a rotor (53) to suppress over-rotation of the rotor (53). The cover member (40) includes a side wall portion (41) surrounding the sides of the rotor (53), and a top plate portion (42) covering an upper end of the side wall portion. The damper mechanism (60) includes a resistance portion (63) which is suspended from the top plate portion (42) and a distal end of which is immersed in oil (62). Reinforcing wall portions (45, 46) extending from the resistance portion (63) to the side wall portion (41) are formed integrally with the cover member (40) and the resistance portion (63).
