Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge drive conveyor capable of constantly speedily and certainly travelling and actuating it without causing elongation of a damage of an endless belt at small power cast.
SOLUTION: A pair of timing belts 22 on both sides is arranged free to synchronously drive below a travelling surface of the endless belt 4 constituting this edge drive conveyor 21, and it is constituted to travel and actuate the endless belt 4 by frictional force by driving the timing belt 22 in a specified direction. Additionally, a required number of guide rollers 35 are arranged for each of specified pitched so as to make contact with an inner periphery of a corner member of the endless belt 4.
