To provide an edge trimming material, which is not removed even if a roof material is remarkably deteriorated after long term use to increase a space in a superposed portion of the roof material, positively drains rainwater remained around the edge trimming material, and prevents generation of the damage of the roof material even if a load such as stepping on by foot is applied to the outer peripheral portion of the edge trimming material inserted into the superposed portion of the roof material.

The edge trimming material for a roof material is inserted into the superposed portion 10c of upper and lower roof materials 10a, 10b to always, constantly, form a space in the superposed portion 10c for draining rainwater entering between the roof members 10, and comprises a stopper 2 hooked on the lower end of the upper roof material 10a for positioning the edge trimming material, and, on the bottom of the stopper 2, an insertion portion fixed so as to be almost perpendicular to the stopper surface on the lower end side of the upper roof material 10a, as well as projecting portions installed continuously on the side opposite to the insertion side end of the insertion portion.
