To provide edible oil and fat having good flavor, and especially edible oil and fat suitable for use in low carbohydrate food.SOLUTION: There is provided edible oil and fat containing 60 to 99.9 mass% of medium chain fatty acid-containing triglyceride and 0.1 to 30 mass% of flavor oil and fat. There is provided edible oil and fat having content of the medium chain fatty acid-containing triglyceride in the middle chain aliphatic acid-containing triglyceride of 30 to 100 mass%. There is provided edible oil and fat having content of capric acid in total amount of medium chain fatty acid constituting the medium chain fatty acid-containing triglyceride of 20 to 100 mass%. There is provided edible oil and fat, in which the flavor oil and fat is one or more kinds selected from roasted oil, virgin oil and animal oil and fat. There is provided a food, in which preferably content of the carbohydrate is 25 mass% or less. There is provided a food, in which preferably content of lipid based on total content of protein and carbohydrate {lipid/(protein+carbohydrate)} is 0.9 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
