Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition containing water, an alcohol, a stabilizer, a sugar and a particular inorganic fine powder and capable of applying distinct printed pattern to a food irrespective of the color of the food.
CONSTITUTION: The objective ink composition contains water, an alcohol, a stabilizer, a sugar and/or a surfactant (preferably glycerol fatty acid ester) and preferably 5W70wt% edible inorganic fine powder insoluble in water and having masking power (preferably an inorganic calcium salt or titanium dioxide). The composition preferably contains a food dye as an additive.
