Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an editing system device capable of optionally setting a video recording pause command, a video recording pause releasing command and a stop command and performing also various commands such as a fast forward command to a counter, a fast forward command with an optionally settable counter value and a rewinding command with the optionally settable counter value, etc. CONSTITUTION:The editing system is provided with a control output terminal 6a for outputting a control output signal from a control circuit 11 of one VTR 1 to a control circuit 11 of the other VTR 2 and a control input terminal 6b for inputting a control input signal to the control circuit 11 of one VTR 1 from the control circuit 11 of the other VTR 2. In addition, the system is provided with an operation mode instructing means 12 for instructing the execution of an operation mode corresponding to a control input signal when this control input signal is inputted to the control circuit 11 of one VTR 1 from the control circuit 11 of the other VTR 2. Consequently, the control signal is inputted and outputted by the two VTRs 1 and 2 to each other, so that the other VTR 2 is controlled from one VTR 1, thus simplifying the operation for editing a tape.
