Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an education aid system that can use a sub system employing a personal computer(PC) having an operation unit for USB interfacing.
SOLUTION: In a pupil sub system 2 employing an operation unit 23 for USB interfacing for a PC 21, a USB device controller 25 and a microcomputer 26 converting a data form the provided between a changeover circuit 22 and a communication buffer 24, this microcomputer converts data received from the USB device controller 25 into asynchronous serial data and transmits the data to the communication buffer 24 and converts the asynchronous serial data received from the communication buffer 24 into the data with the form adaptive to the USB device controller 25 and gives the data to the USB device controller. The data transmitted through a cable 10 are the asynchronous serial data and even when the PC of the teacher sub system uses the operation unit adopting asynchronous serial communication, remote control from the teacher sub system is attained.
