PURPOSE: To switch an effective range of a variable in a procedure by designating an actual parameter of a procedure sentence by a format of the procedure sentence, when calling the procedure of a program.
CONSTITUTION: One which has changed partially a sentence structure of PASCAL is shown in the figure. 201, 202, 203, 204, 205 and 206 in the figure denote a sentence structure of a procedure sentence, sentence structure of a procedure name, sentence structure of an actual parameter, sentence structure of a pair parameter, sentence structure of a localized pair parameter, and a large area-converted pair parameter, respectively. A change of grammer related to this system is to have added an item of a pair parameter to one of the actual parameter of 203, and to have added sentence structures of 204, 205 and 206. The pair parameter is constituted of the localized parameter or the large area-converted pair parameter, and used in case a variable in a procedure is localized or converted to a large area.
