Abstract:
To efficiently execute drying of materials that are finely divided.
In a suction dryer which has a fine porous suction face whose fine pore radius substantially falls into a range of 0.5 to 2 μm, a filtering cake 2 on a fine porous liquid suction face constituting a filtering face of a filtering medium 1 is formed from slurry including liquid and solid, and the filtering cake 2 and a generator 6 are mutually relatively arranged, so that due to a mechanical contact between the filtering cake 2 and the generator 6 or a constituent 7 connected to the generator, a sound field is produced between the filtering cake 2 and the generator 6 so as to facilitate drying.
