To improve problems in conventional proposals in developing an egg breaker enabling even a child to safely and easily break a raw egg without fail using an implement of simple structure.

The problems are improved as follows: (1) a position adjusting function of two holding springs 4 is provided to absorb variation of egg size, (2) a stroke adjusting function of a breaking edge knob 9 that can absorb the variation of egg size is provided, (3) the egg is inserted between the two holding springs 4, and an egg holding lever 1 is gripped for completion, (4) an egg breaking operation after inserting the breaking edge 8 into the egg is completed by opening the egg holding lever 1, (5) an eggshell release operation is completed only by returning the egg breaking edge knob 9, and (6) the egg breaking edge 8 is shaped by forming the center in projecting shape and providing Mt. Fuji shaped inclination in both width directions.
