To provide an EGR device in an engine room in a simple configuration at a low production cost only by changing the arrangement structure of an EGR valve.
The EGR device in an engine room 1 includes an exhaust gas reflux passage for recirculating an exhaust gas branched from an exhaust inlet pipe 3 to an intake pipe 7 of the engine 1a, and an EGR valve 2 for controlling the reflux amount of the exhaust gas in the middle of the exhaust gas reflux passage. The exhaust gas inlet 2a of the EGR valve 2 is disposed above the branching part 5a of the exhaust inlet pipe 3 in the engine room 1. The reflux part 7a to the inlet pipe 7 is disposed above the exhaust gas outlet 2b of the EGR valve 2. Thereby, the reflux passage is designed to be downstream side not lower than the upstream side.
