Abstract:
To enlarge an operation region to further high load side.
This EGR device comprises: intake passages 19, 17, 13, and 11 and exhaust passages 22 and 23 communicating with a combustion chamber 5; an intake valve 7 for opening/closing between the combustion chamber 5 and the intake passages 19, 17, 13, and 11; an exhaust valve 9 which performs opening/closing between the combustion chamber 5 and the exhaust passages 22, 23 and in which a closing timing in its exhaust stroke is set so as to further advance than a piston top dead center; and a supercharger 15 of boost pressure variable type arranged to the intake passages 19, 17, 13, and 11.
