To realize the high EGR rate even at an engine equipped with a turbocharger and enable reduction of NOx due to recirculation of exhaust gas and improvement of engine performance through supercharging to be compatible with each other.

In regard with an EGR device to draw out a part of exhaust gas 8 from the exhaust manifold of an engine equipped with a turbocharger 2 and recirculate it to an intake pipe, the interior of an exhaust manifold is partitioned by a partition wall such that exhaust interference of each cylinder is prevented from occurring, and the interior of a turbine scroll 15 of the turbocharger 2 is divided throughout a whole periphery by a partition wall 16 in a manner to be continued to the outlet flow passage of the exhaust manifold. A number of nozzle vanes 18a and 18b, the angles of which are regulatable, are disposed at throat parts 17a and 17b of respective flow passages A and B divided by the partition wall 16, and regulation of the angles of the nozzle vanes 18a and 18b is independently controllable at each of the flow passages A and B.
