Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR gas cooling device which effectively inhibits condensed water generation even when an outdoor air temperature is low.SOLUTION: When an intake air temperature is low, a coolant Wof an intercooler 20 is introduced from a radiator 52 to an EGR cooler 38. Since a temperature of the coolant Wis lower than a temperature of a coolant Wof an engine 10, if the coolant Wis introduced, moisture in an EGR gas can be condensed in the EGR cooler 38 even when an outdoor air temperature is low. Thus, generation of condensed water derived from the EGR gas is effectively inhibited in an intake passage 12 at the upstream side relative to a compressor 18a and the intercooler 20.
