Abstract:
To always sufficiently cool an EGR valve by certainly circulating engine cooling water to the jacket of an EGR valve in an engine.
A jacket 14 is formed in the inside of the wall surface of the main body 3 of an EGR valve 20 in an engine 1, and also an air sump part 26 is formed above the jacket 14, and air or steam which is generated from engine cooling water fed to the inside of the jacket 14 by a supply passage 21 is collected in the air sump part 26 and fed to the reservoir tank 27 of a radiator 22 by appropriately pushing open a check valve 29 arranged in a passage 28.
