Abstract:
To solve the following problems: when recirculated gas is returned to intake air in an intake passage leading from an air cleaner to an intake manifold to enhance combustibility of exhaust gas, the recirculated gas is mixed with oil in the intake air to create deposits, thereby deteriorating operability of a valve in a recirculated gas inflow port.
In this EGR valve structure, the recirculated gas led to flow from the recirculated gas inflow port (13) of an EGR valve into the intake passage is made to flow in large amount on an intake downstream side in comparison with an intake upstream side with respect to the shaft of the EGR valve.
